Watched PUNCTURE starring Chris Evans (Captain America)…and I gotta say. It’s a pretty damn movie…and guess what? It was filmed in HOUSTON. It was pretty cool to see the city on the big screen. PUNCTURE’S based on a true story…a crazy story. Chris Evans plays this dude named, Mike Weiss…a bad ass Houston lawyer with a serious drug addiction.
Yeahhhhhh…right when I heard about this movie. I was like, “YOU CAN’T MESS WITH ARNOLD’S CONAN, YA JUST CAN’T!” But the movie peeps did and boy did it ever bomb. Yeahhhhh…to me…this was just a terrible movie.
FRIGHT NIGHT is finally hitting DVD on December 13th…is it worth watching, buying, or renting? I’d say…it’s worth watching…probably renting though…I don’t think I’LL be adding this movie to my DVD collection. I’m a huge fan of the original 1985 version…I had that baby on VHS and watched it over and over.
SAVING PRIVATE PEREZ…I still think this movie never got a fair chance. (LOL) If you’re a fan of comedies and the movie, SCARFACE…you should check this one out people. SAVING PRIVATE PEREZ is about this big time drug lord…he’s definitely got the money and the power. One day…while his mother’s on her death bed…she asks him for one favor (she’s NEVER liked his lifestyle) - to find her other son (his brother) – apparently he’s gone missing in Iraq. Ohhh yeahhhh…here’s where it gets good with a side of funny. He realizes for this ‘possible’ suicide mission – he needs the best team - - he gathers a group of guys and heads to Iraq. (LOL)

I bet some of ya’ll are thinking, “Mike…please tell you’ve seen THE SHINING already?!” and the answer is YES…happens to be one of my favorite flicks. The issue here at the house was…my girlfriend hadn’t seen it. YEP! The nerve! (LOL) Actually, she was reading the book and well…I was just waiting in the wind…once she was done…it went on my Netflix Q.
